I was born in Iran and am currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. In my everyday interactions, the ordinary can become extraordinary when approached with inquiry, questioning, and a desire to understand the layers behind the obvious. Photography for me begins with a question. Through nature, architecture, and the quiet poetry of everyday places, I see images that move beyond documentation into metaphor.
